Perfect for adding banks of color to gardens or naturalistic settings, Osteospermum has substantial foliage and daisy-like flowers in shades of pink, purple, blue, or white.
A charming, free flowering plant with large daisy-like blooms and good drought tolerance. Plants need good drainage and don't do well in high humidity.
May be slow to start blooming. Deadhead to prolong flowering. Keep water off of the leaves to prevent fungal disease.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Sow indoors from February to April inside in pots of moist compost or in prepared seed bed directly outside in May.
Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, clear plastic or propagator lid.
Keep at +18-+24C. Seedlings appear in 7-21 days.
Remove cover then seedlings appear. Grow on at ~+15-+20C.
Transplant in to permanent position after the last frost 30 cm apart.
