Drumstick Flower (Craspedia Globosa) 150 seeds (#953)

Craspedia globosa, also known as Drumstick Flower or Billy Buttons, produces a golden-yellow display of spherical flowers that often reach the size of tennis balls.
Its most current scientific name is Pycnosorus globosus.
The silvery-gray foliage reaches about 60 cm tall and wide, and the flowers bloom almost all year long in warmer climates.
Cut drumstick flowers make excellent flower arrangements. Cut the stems to the desired height and keep the flowers in a vase with water and flower food. Blooms last up to 12 days. They're also ideal for drying.
Drumstick flowers are grown as perennials in plant hardiness zones 8-11, and as annuals elsewhere.
Transplant seedlings when there are at least two sets of true leaves. Space them 10 cm apart in full sun in a gritty, well-drained garden soil. Tolerant of low fertility and drought. When watering plants, avoid too much moisture on the surfaces of the leaves. If dividing is necessary, do so in the spring.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Best sown indoors at +20C with no cover in late winter or early summer.
Expect germination in 10-15 days, but can be a few weeks as well.
Seeds may also be sown outdoors in spring, after danger of frost is past. Outside barely cover seeds (as light aids in germination) and they will germinate in 14-20 days.
