The Green Hobbit dwarf sunflower is a valuable oilseed plant, cultivated for its fresh grain.
A dwarf variety, perfect for growing both in pots and on flowerbeds. A plant with original single golden-yellow flowers with a celadon-green center, 10 - 12 cm in diameter.
An ideal variety for spring, summer and year-round cultivation under cover.
Grow sunflowers in full sun and average soil with good drainage. It is best to directly sow the seeds in the ground in the late spring.
If you desire continuous summer sunflowers, plant seeds every two weeks in succession from mid-spring to early summer.
These outstanding annuals make superb additions to cutting garden. Children also love them because they are fun to plant and grow.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
***For outdoor sowing:
Sow from March to May directly in the flowering position. Sow 2 seeds together with 40 cm between groups. Cover lightly with 1.5 cm of soil. Keep moist.
Germination in 14-21 days.
***For indoor sowing:
Sow from March to May in individual pots of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover 1.5 cm with compost. Firm gently, keep moist
Keep at +18-+21C moist. Remove cover when seedlings appear. Place in light airy location.
