Ornamental corn is valuable item for dried decorations.
It is cultivated like any other corn and dried in autumn. The colorful cobs are eye catching ornaments. Each cob has grains in different colors: violet, coffee, red orange, yellow and white.
Excellent for bizarre, dried decorations or in arrangements with straw flowers. The fruits are inedible.
Grows well in porous, loose, fertile, rich in lime soil in a warm location. Needs a lot of nutrients.
