A splendid annual plant with branched, densely leafed shoots. Height 150-200cm. Magenta flowers gathered in decorative, very long (30-50 cm) dangling inflorescences ("fox tails"). It blooms in July-October.
Perfect as a solitaire, for flower beds, cut flowers and dry bouquets.
In most of its range, it is planted as a summer annual. In temperate regions, plants can be started indoors in early spring and transplanted outdoors after the last frost.
Easily grown in moist, average, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Best flowering in full sun, but appreciates some afternoon shade in hot summer climates.
Approximately 500 seeds in 0.5 g packet.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
