An electronic water hardness meter will be useful for checking the purity of drinking or other household water.
The device is very easy to use - just remove the cover, immerse the electrodes in water. The integrated LCD screen allows you to accurately and legibly measure water hardness (its impurities with inorganic compounds) and temperature. It requires no external power sources (mains) and only one CR2032 battery, making it extremely mobile and safe in contact with water.

The meter is calibrated in "ppm" - parts per million - the world's most popular method for determining the amount of chemical compounds dissolved in water. The less polluted the water, the lower its electrical conductivity. Raw, unfiltered water can show a score as high as 200 PPM or higher.
The conductivity of water can be considered as an indicator of salt content. Waters with few ions have a low electrical conductivity, whereas seawater, for example, has a very high conductivity. The most commonly used unit of water conductivity is μS/cm (= micro-Siemens/cm). The conductivity of fresh water or pond water should be between 300 and 1200 μS/cm.
The tester is characterized by high measurement accuracy.
The measurement result is read on a transparent LCD screen. You will immediately check whether the water is safe for drinking and other purposes.
