More often cultivated as showy indoor climber.
This vigorous twining climber displays green heart-shaped leaves on hairy stems. Throughout summer it bears prolific tubular flowers ranging in color from blue and purple to red, depending on the cultivar. These are often edged in white and attract hummingbirds.
