Perennial with showy club-shaped inflorescences composed of yellow-red tubular flowers. An excellent plant for planting ponds, a bed, as a solitaire on lawns and as a cut flower.
It grows well in sandy or moderately cohesive, moderately moist soil in a sunny place. It is advisable to protect plants for the winter with mounds of leaves or peat.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Stratify the seeds cold and moist for 6 weeks at +2-4C prior to planting. Start this process from February to April.
After the stratification sow 2-4 mm high in moist soil.
Germination time - 21-28 days at ~+18-+22C, but may take up to 3 months.
