Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus Twilight Zone) 15 seeds (#1653)

A variety with interesting flowers, 15-20 cm in diameter, golden yellow with red or brown streaks forming rings around the red-brown central disc.
Plant 80-90 cm high, branches and produces flowers on each branch.
They are used for cutting, as dot plants and in groups.
They make excellent cut flowers if gathered just before they are fully open. Alternatively leave them on the plant for the birds to enjoy the seed-heads that follow.
Approximately 15 seeds in 0,5g packet.

GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS
Sow indoors from March to May in trays of seed compost or outdoors directly in to the soil after the last frost till end of May.
Sow singly, cover with 15 mm of fine compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, clear plastic or propagator lid.
Seedlings appear in 14-21 days.
Remove cover then seedlings appear.
Transplant when large enough outside 45 cm apart.
