Petunia hybrids are commonly propagated from seed, which is best sown indoors for at least four weeks before moving outside.
Sow seeds uncovered in a moist, well-drained soil with a pH of 6 to 7 from February to April.
When planting outdoors, wait until soil temperatures reach at least +15C, and there is no chance of frost.
Plant young transplants at the same depth they were in their containers, and space about ~20 cm apart.
